From the implementation of encouragement in the classroom
Encouragement goes to school - an encouraging report from an HTL teacher from Styria

Monday 3rd hour I enter a class of the 2nd year. After the greeting, I inquire about the missing class book. but don't get any answer. Annoyed I ask where it could have gone, but the students don't react to that either. Then I dominate Markus, who is sitting in my direction, loudly and briskly. hurry to look for it.

Tone and choice of words, as I immediately realize, are inadequate and trigger all concerned. The working atmosphere at this hour is extremely bad.

"The extended arm" of the family home

Dear Dr. Warning!
I thank you very much for the documents and the encouragement that goes into my work with a student and his mother (very difficult, but a change is possible; by encouragement!).
If I am or should be "the extended arm" of the parental home and its upbringing, and should or should have a positive attitude towards parents, this procedure makes sense and is encouraging; also for colleagues at my school.

I would not have seen it that way before the seminar; felt it, but maybe not acted like that. Thanks again!

Would be very grateful if there were regular meetings

Dear Soheyla!
Thank you for this educational, really great seminar that I was able to attend. I already worked with students in the first two hours on Friday and was successful! I made a circle with the students and offered that those who did not want to participate could withdraw without consequences. Four students took advantage of this offer.

Approximately after half the time, everyone in the group sat because they - of their own accord - joined. It was really nice to see how happy the students were. I told them the story of the frog. I just realized that I have to learn to tell stories even better. You can do it super !!! Then we talked about it and encouraged a student. It was really a very nice experience for all of us.
